True Deep Impact Mission

Just read a news from Yahoo about a Deep Impact Mission of NASA. The mission is to smash out a half-Manhattan sized comet in the space. The success of this experiment is something we should rejoice about. Because this could possibly save us someday if we are threatened by a comet or a meteor that targets the earth as its landing object.

The blasting of the comet is not visible on earth but can be seen through a telescope.
