Whereabouts
I had several days off last week and we decided to have a series of family hangouts. It was definitely a high time as we need some bonding activity to ease out some tensions and shortcomings to each other. ;)
Jurong West Sports Complex
On my way home from work I called my hubby to get prepared because we're going for swimming that day. Surprise!! I was in night shift, so their day has just barely started and would definitely be a long one from me. It is very seldom that I and James have the same day off. So, I don't want to spoil this day and decided to surprise them with this irresistible invitation.
We rushed to the complex so unprepared. Luckily, there’s a sports house and 7-11 convenience store within the complex where we bought our swimwear and “baon”. Entrance fee for the swimming pool area is just $1.50 for adult and $0.80 for kids.
Sorry no pictures... As you know, we're not prepared. :D
Night Safari
We went to Night Safari again but this time with Ashley's Ninang Tin-tin. We treated her out since she'll be leaving Sg very soon. We met her in City Hall MRT station and we already arrived at the night zoo at 10:15pm!!! Yes, you read it right...just 1.5 hours before the zoo closes. Still lucky, we're able to catch up the last Animal Show for that day, the last Tram ride, the last available meal in Congo Burger and the most important of all... the last taxi that would bring us home. :D
Sentosa
The second stop of our tour for Ninang Tin is Sentosa. We first met up with Jedwin in Vivo City and had lunch in Banquet Food Court. As usual, we took the cable car going to Sentosa. We first walked around the Merlion and then tried the 4D Magix. Next, we went to Siloso Beach and Palawan Beach and stayed there for a while. Our last trip is Sky Ride and Luge which are really a MUST to try!
Jurong East Sports and Cultural Complex
Not getting enough of swimming (which is really our favourite past time), we went to Jurong East Sports and Cultural Complex. We liked this complex more compared to Jurong West. We loved the lazy river and the wave pool. We’ll definitely go back here soon.
